角地に建つ三階建ての住宅である。建築面積、延床面積を最大限確保し、さらに道路斜線、高度斜線で切り取られる形状そのまま空間化し一階を個室と駐車場、二階を共用部、三階を居間と台所としている。 This is a three-story house built on a corner lot. Having securing the maximum allowable floor area, the form sliced by the diagonal setback line from the road and height limit was directly turned into space, giving a dining and living room on the third floor with a height of 5.6m. The structure that appears to support the approach to the entry bears the wind loads on this space.

緑道に面しながらマンションと印刷場に挟まれて建つ個人住宅。 House placed between apartment house and print place though the other side is green road. The volume made from a legal slash was cut down, and a vertical garden to the green road side was installed. This garden is connected with the parking lot, the earth floor, and the front yard, and functions as a space that carries light and the sign to each room. チタンの外皮をまとった家型の住宅。旧建物時の南側の庭、建物の配置をほぼそのままにしました。１階は、庭と連続し、土間、小上がりの床が広く南北に抜ける、開放的な空間が確保されています。２階は、屋根の形状による斜め天井下の体積を切り分け、バルコニー側から、跳ね上げた屋根に風の抜ける空間としました。 Located in a distant suburb of Tokyo, this house displays a volume wrapped in a titanium shell. The south garden from the time of the old building, as well as the arrangement of the building, was left almost untouched.The first floor is continuous with the garden, whereas the earthen floor area and the slightly raised floor area extend to the south and north, securing a generous space. By dividing up the volume below the sloping ceiling caused by the shape of the roof, the second floor is a space where air may be expelled by throwing back the roof on the balcony side. データ DATE |

This built-for-sale house is one of a group of four houses planned on a large site by four design offices. The bare and simple box contrasts with the fluidity of the plan that also takes advantage of the natural wooden scenery. |

佐久の家 House in Saku 敷地のほぼ中央に１０m角の建物を配置し、四方にできる庭にそれぞれの役割を持たせました。１階はキッチンを中心とした回遊型のプラン、２階は階高の低いキッチンの上部に寝室を配し、断面で１階とつなげました。１階の東南のコーナー部分にもうけられた開口部は、完全に両側にサッシを引き込むことができ、外部と内部、それぞれの機能に振り当てられた空間が交差する居心地の良い場所となっています。 A 10m-square building was arranged approximately at the center of the site, allowing the gardens in each of the four directions to be given different roles. The first floor has a concentric plan focused on the kitchen, whereas on the second floor the bedroom is arranged above the kitchen, which has a low ceiling, and is connected in section to the first floor.At the opening in the southeast corner of the first floor, both window sashes can be drawn completely back to make a comfortable space of intersections of each functional space with inside and outside. データ DATE |

富士見台の家 House in Fujimidai 周辺の環境は一般的な高密度の住宅地であるため、外観はコンパクトで閉じられた様相を持たせました。西側の緑道に面して開けられた開口部は緑の借景を取り込み、変型方形屋根の北側にあけられた大きなトップライトは空を切り取り、上階の大きいルームに光を満たしています。 Because the surrounding environment is an ordinary high-density residential district, the exterior has a compact, closed appearance. A“borrowed scenery”of greenery is brought in through openings that facea green pedestrian path to the west, and a large skylight placed on the north face of thedistorted chapel ceilingslices the sky, filling the large room on the upper floor with light. データ DATE |

宮坂の家 House in Miyasaka 南北に敷地形状にそって風がぬけるようなプラン。土間のようなエントランスと居間のスペースを一体化し、また、水回り、キッチン、階段のボリュームを片側にまとめることによって、トンネル状の空間として、外部空間との連続をはかりました。２階は個室空間で、天井の高い余裕のあるボリュームとしました。 This is a plan that draws the wind south-north along the shape of the site. The entrance, resembling a traditional earthen floor space, is integrated with the space of the living room, and by bringing the water related areas, kitchen, and stair volume together on one side, it becomes a tunnel-shaped space continuous with the exterior spaces. 横須賀の家 House in Yokosuka イデーの家具が好きなクライアントの住宅。大きなスキームをみかんぐみ、仕上のテイストと家具をイデーが担当して設計を進めました。それぞれの領域は重なるので様々なレベルで調整をしています。ミカンセイホームの展開のバリエーション。 This is a house for a client that likes furniture from the brand Ide´e. The design proceeded with Mikan producing the main scheme while Idee´ was in charge of the furniture and the style of finishes. 美しが丘の家 House in Utsukushigaoka ミニ開発された、道路との段差が２mある東西に細長い敷地。南側をあけずに敷地中央に建物を配置し、内部と連続する２つの外部空間を確保しました。道路側に鉄骨造のデッキを設け、アプローチとしました。３人家族が生活の変化にあわせて、自由に作られるように間仕切、建具、仕上を最小限に抑えました。 This is a mini-development on a long and slender site running from east to west, offset a height of 2m from the road. The building is arranged at the center of the site without openings to the south, ensuring two exterior spaces contiguous with the inside. A steel-framed deck has been installed at the roadside as the approach route.In order to freely allow lifestyle changes within the three-person family, partitions, fittings, and finishes have been kept to a minimum. データ DATE |

湘南台の家 House in Shonandai 親子一体型の二世帯住宅。２階はハイサイドライトを持った大きな一室空間。１階は世帯の家族ごとの個室、水廻りと駐車場。中間階には天井高1.4mの収納をつくりました。 This is a two-generation house, uniting parents and children. The second floor is a single large space with a clerestory. The first floor has private rooms for each household, water-related areas, and parking. 瀬田の家 House in Seta 8ｍ南道路が最大のメリットでです。 恵まれた日照条件を利用して草花を愛する施主のためにできる限り南に空地をとりました。 南北に抜けるトンネル状のコンクリート躯体で、中央のスリットは奥行き深くに光をもたらすとともに、通り側と奥側の空間を分けています。 ファサードは型板ガラスと透明ガラスで構成しています。 This house located in a residential area, faces an 8 meters road on the south side of its site which turns to be its best merit. A little garden for the client who loves flowers was made on the south, taking advantage of the sunshine conditions. The bare concrete house is built in the shape of a tunnel, bringing light to its depth. キャンチレバーの家 Cantilever House 東京下町に建つ鉄筋コンクリート造の住宅。駐車スペースを確保すべく、２階のリビングスペースを５メートルのキャンチレバーの張り出しによってつくり、その上階はドーム状のコックピットとなっています。 This is a house made of reinforced concrete, built in Tokyo’s shitamachi(old downtown area). The requested parking space was ensured by making the second floor living space a cantilevered 5m projection, and the level above is a domed cockpit that is used as an office. データ DATE |

目黒の家 House in Meguro 南面する２階の広いリビングに、光、風などの環境を調節（コントロール）しつつ、周囲の家からのプライバシーを守るため、縦型の木製ルーバーを設置した。 夜にはルーバーからやわらかく光がもれる。 This house is built in a rather dense residential area. As a result the need for light and privacy influenced the organization of the building. On the upper floor the major room expressing the family unit expands in all directions. 三田のマンション改修 Apartment House in Mita リビングと厨房、玄関ホールの間の壁を取り払い、開放的なインテリアを目指している。 天井の中央部分を織り上げることで高さ方向にも広げ、この部分に空調や照明を納めている。 The renovation of this apartment aims to create a more open space by removing the wall between the living room, the kitchen and the entrance hall. 葉山ヨットハウス House in Hayama ローコストの究極のかたち。 住宅の建材の代理店を経営しつつ、ヨットスクールを主宰するクライアントは、自ら自営し建設したい希望を設計当初から望んでいた。そこで建築家はできるだけ簡単に、大きなヴォリームを取ることをサポート、できるだけ単純な形態を目指した。また、技術的なアドヴァイスのため、クライアントと共にドイツ製のサッシをもとめて中国まで出向き、買い求めたりした 。 This project for a house and a sailing school is the ultimate form of low cost construction. The owner who teaches sailing is also managing a retail company selling constructions materials for housing. This represented also for him an opportunity to challenge building costs. For example he went to China to purchased cheap sashes produced under German license. The architect provided more a support than the traditional role of a designer, keeping the built volume as big as possible within the specified spectrum. |

綱町のマンション改修 Apartment House in Tsunamachi ３０年ほど前に建てられたタワー型高層マンションの改修計画。 要望であった、シンプルで落ち着いたインテリアを実現するため、家具と建具を同じデザインでまとめ、照明、スイッチなどの要素を可能な限り排している。 This work is a renovation of a tower type apartment built 30 years ago. In order to realize the simple and calm interior design which was requested, furniture and fittings are packed by the same design. 神楽坂の家 House in Kagurazaka 敷地は都心で小さな住宅が密集している。 敷地南北は隣家が近接しているため、境界から引きを取って建物を配置し、通風・採光が得られるようにした。 １階部分はパブリックな空間として、３方向のほとんど開口部とし、内部から延長した外部を、敷地の境界まで使おうと考えた。１階をオープンなスペースとし、２階を寝室・ダイニング、３階を浴室と、それぞれ性格の異なる３つのワンルームを積層している。 １、２階の間に設けられたスリットは、それぞれの階を緩やかに連結し、お互いの気配を感じられる。 This house is located in the center of Tokyo in an area crowded with small residences. Since the neighboring houses towards the north, the south and the west are close to the limits of the lot, it influences the position and the organization of the building in need for natural ventilation and light. The public space penetrates a ground floor largely opened and expanding towards the outside. A superposition of 3 rooms defines the house. The ground floor is an open space, the first one is composed of the dining zone and the sleeping zone and the second one receive the bathroom. 船橋の家 House in Funabashi ライフスタイルの違う二世帯が、どうしたら一緒に暮らすことができるのか。 ここでは３枚の壁で２つに空間を分け、ひとつは垂直性の強い空間、もう一つは水平に切り分ける空間とした。 This 2 house-hold house is characterized by the binding of 2 groups of inhabitants with different life styles. Thus the building was strictly divided into 2 living spaces by 3 walls. 西荻の家 House in Nishiogi 密集地に建つ家族４人のための住宅。 １階に緩やかにつながれた個室、２階がリビングルームとロフトとなっている 。 連続する間柱でできた空間、１階に光を落とすためのスノコなどがこの小さい空間を特徴づけている。 This small single family house is built in a highly dense urban area. On the ground floor a fluid relation tightens all the bedrooms in a single space. The second floor which houses the living zone, is a single room smoothly expanding with a loft and a terrace. Because of the density of the built environment bringing natural light requires special devices. In consideration of the sunshine the unit of the ground floor has a high ceiling with windows going up to its edge. 押上の家 House in Oshiage 木造密集地から不燃3階建ての住宅の並びに変化しつつある通りに面する２世帯住宅である。 建坪率90％の都市環境で、３層の居住スペースに光を取り入れることと、パッケージデザインとしての２トーンカラーの外壁がテーマである。 This is a two-household house of nonflammable 3 storeys, erected in a popular area of highly dense wooden constructions. 佐倉の家 House in Sakura 内部に柱のない、鉄骨造の大きな箱。 内部に大型の家具を並べることで部屋を仕切っている。 将来的な使い方の変化に合わせて、プランの変更がしやすい。 This house is a big box made of steel frame, free of columns inside. Usual partitioning is replaced by built in furnitures which do not reach the ceiling. 大町の家 House in Omachi 信濃大町の森に建つ別荘。 ひっそりとしたコンパクトな佇まいと内部のジグザグに連続する流動的な空間が共存する。 建物を敷地奥の傾斜に半分埋め込むことによって見え方を小さくし、下階の客間を谷間のせせらぎに近づける。 多雪地域であり、背景に豊かな森を控える。 季節の美しいうつり変わりに映え、窓一杯の自然を楽しむことができる。 友人たちと、湯にひたりながら見るパノラマ。施主のこだわりだった。 森側に大きく開いたコーナーに大きな温泉浴室を配した。 山桜に新緑、秋は紅葉、白一色の冬。ニホンザルも訪れる。 This cottage is built in a mountainous and woody region. The house placed at the edge of a stiff slope on the rear end of the site, is partly embedded. When approached from the road, it thus looks very low, almost lost in the nature. Although the main rooms are located above, there is a lower floor for the guests rooms, brought closer to the little stream at the foot of the slope. In this area of magnificent woods and heavy snow falls with fresh green leaves in spring, red maples in autumn and white winter, the passing of the seasons is especially beautiful. The plan of the house is therefore a combination of compact and functional rooms and a fluid area in the shape of a zigzag, widely opened towards the surrounding nature. 相模原の家 House in Sagamihara この２世帯住宅は中央の中庭を３方向に螺旋状にヴォリュームがめぐる構成になっている。建物は中庭によって２つにわけられていている。 この中庭は、エントランスホールでもあり、家族が集まる外部の居室でもあり、愛犬の遊び場である。 ２階へのゆるやかな階段の壁は一面の本棚で、家族のライブラリーとなっている。 This two-household house surrounded on 3 sides by its neighbors is organized in a spiral evolving around a central courtyard. The house itself is divided in 2 superimposed units although the courtyard provides a common area. It serves both as an entrance hall, an exterior sitting room where the family gathers, and a playground for the pet dog.
